Inside a chapter
A chapter is a short run of lessons around one situation, like meeting your class or shopping for a picnic. It closes with the exam task that situation prepares you for.
Step 1: Pick your exam and level once. Learn opens the matching book and keeps your Goethe or telc target in step with Practice and mock exams.
Step 2: Open the next chapter. Each lesson brings a few new phrases with audio, and you say every one of them out loud.
Step 3: Use Bruno Call when your hands are busy. Bruno says the chapter's phrases, you answer by voice, and the call counts as one lesson.
Step 4: Try the chapter's exam task. The last step shows the Teil the chapter prepares you for, so you know why each phrase matters.
Step 5: Chat with Bruno to use the German in a real conversation. He keeps it friendly and easy going.
Step 6: Come back for the daily spoken review. A few phrases from earlier chapters return each day, so they stay fresh for exam day.
Every chapter starts with the German you need for one everyday situation and ends with the exam task that uses it.
You speak in every lesson, so the words are ready when the oral exam asks for them.
Questions
No. The A1 book starts from greetings and your name, and every lesson gets you speaking.
When you are ready, practice and mock exams train you in the exact exam format.
Every account gets 3 Learn lessons and 5 live minutes with Bruno each day, with no card. A Bruno Call counts as one of the 3 lessons.
Premium removes the lesson limit.
A hands-free spoken drill of one chapter's phrases. Bruno says a phrase and you answer out loud, so it works on a walk or while you cook.
A live conversation in German with Bruno about everyday topics. Free accounts get 5 minutes a day.
Premium allows up to 30 minutes a day, which is the daily ceiling for every learner.
Both. You choose your exam when you start, and the exam map shows the chapter that teaches each Goethe or telc Teil.
The telc B1 book adds one workshop chapter for the Sprachbausteine part.
Not yet. B2 is coming later.
B2 practice and mock exams are already open for Goethe and telc, so you can train the B2 paper today.
Learn teaches the German and the task. Practice gives you exam questions with instant feedback, and a mock exam checks the whole paper under real timing.
Each one has its own daily allowance.
Lessons you already started stay open, and new lessons unlock again after midnight in your own time zone. Practice and mock exams keep their own allowance, so you can still train an exam task the same day.
No. Many learners do a chapter and then try the matching exam task in practice the same week.
The exam map shows which chapter teaches each Teil, so you can jump to the part your exam asks for.
No. You sign in and start Kapitel 1 straight away.
Premium only matters when you want more lessons than the free daily allowance.
