Writing samples
Choose your exam to study model texts, task prompts and the criteria each answer satisfies. Every text covers every content point at the length the task asks for.
Each page holds the tasks for one board and level, with a reviewed model text and its word count.
Write your own answer first, then read the model against the task's points and register.
The task gives three points, invite Luca to the concert, say when it begins and suggest a meeting place, and the model answers them in thirty words with du, a greeting and a sign-off. Content and grammar are the two criteria on this task, and every other A2 model text on the page keeps the same shape: three points, three short sentences, the register the reader asks for, and a frame around them.
The numbers
How to use it
Step 1: Read the word-limit line at the top of your exam's page before anything else. The number changes the whole shape of the text.
Step 2: First draft: take one prompt, list its content points as a numbered line, and write your answer against that line under the real time.
Step 3: Compare: read the model text beside yours and tick each point in both. A point you covered in passing usually needs its own sentence.
Step 4: Rewrite: write the same task once more with the model's structure and your own sentences.
Step 5: Frame check: du or Sie throughout, a greeting that matches the reader, a sign-off, and a subject line where the task asks for one.
Step 6: Graded run: send one task of the same Teil through a Schreiben practice run and compare the feedback with your own tick list. Two such tasks are free each day.

Questions
The prompt asks you to write to your friend Luca about two concert tickets for Saturday, and the thirty-word model opens Hallo Luca, ich habe zwei Karten für das Konzert am Samstag, then asks him along, gives the 20 Uhr start and sets a meeting place at the station. The full model text with its greeting and sign-off is on the Goethe A2 page.
No: they show one complete answer that covers every point at the right length and register. Your text can differ in every sentence and still meet the same criteria.
Each page prints the limit from the official paper for that task, from about 30 words at A1 to at least 150 at telc B2. Write to that number; a text that is far too short usually misses a point.
The printed content points in a telc task. telc A2 asks you to choose three of four; telc B1 asks for all four; telc B2 lets you take three, or two plus one aspect of your own.
The task names the reader. A friend or a fellow learner gets du; an office, a landlord, a teacher or a company gets Sie, and the greeting and closing change with it.
Each page carries a review stamp with the reviewer, the date and the status. A page publishes only once it is approved and has at least eight tasks with eight model texts.
Goethe A2 and B1 ask for two or three separate texts with their own word counts; telc B1 and B2 give one letter with Leitpunkte and a subject line. The exam guides list the timing for each.
Yes, where Schreiben grading is open for your board and level. Free accounts get two graded Schreiben tasks a day, and each writing page links to the matching practice run.
The same criteria the real exam uses. Each model text names them for its task, such as content and grammar at A2 or the full Goethe B1 and telc criteria lists at higher levels, and the feedback on a practice task follows the same names.
No: write to the number the task prints and spend the extra minutes checking that every point has its own sentence. Length beyond the limit earns nothing and costs time you need for the check.
The one for the exam you have booked. If the receiving organisation only named a level, settle the board on the exam guides first, because Goethe and telc ask for different text shapes at the same level.
