Free telc B1 mock exam: written paper with Sprachbausteine

Each account includes one full telc B1 written paper free after signing in, with Leseverstehen and Sprachbausteine on one 90-minute clock. It is a practice paper, not an official telc exam, so no certificate.

What the timed paper contains

The written paper lasts about 150 minutes: reading and Sprachbausteine share 90 minutes, Hören takes about 30 and the writing task 30. The Sprachpass mock covers this written paper only.

Teil 1 (5 questions): five short texts matched to headings from a list of ten. Teil 2 (5 questions): one article with five questions, each answered a, b or c. Teil 3 (10 questions): ten situations matched to twelve adverts, with x when none fits.

Sprachbausteine (language elements)

Schriftlicher Ausdruck (writing)

30 min · 1 part · 1 task

Teil 1: a reply to an email that covers all four guide points, with subject line, greeting and closing.

  • If you miss the written or the oral exam, you can retake just that exam within 12 months and keep the other result.

The real telc oral exam depends on other candidates and licensed examiners. Sprachpass does not pretend to reproduce that inside the timed paper. Speaking has its own practice and grading flow.

Two ways to take the same paper

Practice mode

  • The same section clocks and recordings
  • Save, leave and resume later

Real exam mode

  • Lesen and Sprachbausteine share one 90-minute clock
  • Hören plays Teil 1 once, Teile 2 and 3 twice
  • Schreiben closes after 30 minutes
  • Leaving ends the attempt, after you confirm

How to read your result

The written result shows each section and the written total out of 225. The written pass line is 135. Sprechen is practised and graded separately, so its result is never folded into the written mock.

After the paper, your History keeps the question-by-question review. Insights uses your measured work to show which skills need attention. It never turns an unmeasured result into a promise.

Your first mock is free

Every learner account gets one free mock exam. Premium unlocks unlimited mocks and unlimited practice. Both modes are available on the same paper.
